Eevi Named Innovation of the Year – Dementia Monitoring at the 2026 Ageing Asia World Ageing Festival

We are thrilled to share some exciting news. Eevi has been named the winner of the Innovation of the Year – Dementia Monitoring category at the 14th Eldercare Innovation Awards 2026, held in Singapore as part of the prestigious Ageing Asia World Ageing Festival.

The award recognises the best technology innovation that engages, supports safety, and enhances quality of life through effective monitoring tools for older persons living with dementia — and it is one we are incredibly proud to receive.

Shortlisted across three categories

The recognition didn’t stop there. On the evening, EeviCare was named a finalist across three award categories — Dementia Monitoring, Smart Home, and Assistive Living Solution. For us, this reflects something important: the innovation we have built into EeviCare isn’t narrow or one-dimensional. It spans the full breadth of what great care technology should do — keeping residents safe, comfortable, and living with dignity.

A win that belongs to many

Dr Michael Lusis, Head of Research at Eevi, accepted the award at the ceremony in Singapore. Speaking on behalf of the team, Michael said:

“We are honoured to receive this award. The quality of the competing innovations on display was outstanding. The win reflects the work of our entire team, the support of our technology partners, and, most importantly, the trust and insight of our client partners. Their collaboration over many years has been invaluable, and this award would not have been possible without them.”

Michael also spoke about the experience of being part of the World Ageing Festival itself — something that went well beyond the awards ceremony:

“Beyond the award, attending the conference was a wonderful opportunity to learn from and connect with brilliant innovators and care leaders, and to make new friends who share our passion for improving the lives of older people in the Asia region.”

It’s a sentiment that captures what drives us every day at Eevi — a genuine belief that collaboration, curiosity, and human connection are at the heart of better care.

What EeviCare’s dementia monitoring does

EeviCare’s dementia monitoring capabilities enable care teams to respond proactively to the needs of residents through discreet, non-intrusive sensing technology. The platform is designed to support safety and preserve dignity — without compromising the home-like environment that residents deserve. For operators, it delivers the data and insights needed to improve outcomes and support confident, responsive care.
